The Ali Forney Center in Astoria is a planned infill development that includes community facility space and required a variance from the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA). JEA prepared the required environmental assessment statement (EAS) for this proposal.
98 Third Avenue, Gowanus
JEA prepared the required environmental assessment statement (EAS) for a rezoning at 98 Third Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The rezoning facilitated a new 24 dwelling unit, mixed-use development, including 24,400 sq ft of residential use, and 3,500 sq ft of commercial use.
Ahi Ezer Senior Housing, Brooklyn
JEA prepared the first Green Fast Track (GFT) application for this senior affordable housing project in Midwood, Brooklyn. The application sought 53 new permanently affordable units for seniors.
Fairfield Marriott, Manhattan
JEA prepared the required environmental assessment (EAS) statement for this variance in the Flatiron area of Manhattan. This project sought a variance to enlarge a pre-existing hotel, following the change in the zoning resolution that that now prevents new hotels without zoning approval.
